The Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca has hosted the conference “Balearic islands in digital. Safe tourism“, organised by Telefónica, where authorities, businesspeople and experts have discussed the relevant role of new technologies as a guarantee of safe tourism for society and the economy of the islands.
Among the speakers invited to the event, our CEO Othman Ktiri, has participated in a round table with the President of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Francina Armengol, Telefónica Este’s CEO, José Manuel Casas, and the President of Baleària, Adolfo Utor, to discuss new initiatives that allow to accelerate digitalisation in mobility services.
During his speech, Ktiri highlighted how “digitalisation has allowed us, on the one hand, to accelerate our contactless processesand, on the other, to know better what our customers want. And what we see they want is quality, safety andflexibility.”
