Mar 30, 2022

Majorcan windsurfer Andrea Torres has recently become the U-21 Elite Windsurfing Spanish Champion in the Windsurfing and IQFOIL Spanish Championships, which took place this March in Santa Pola Bay, Alicante. OK Mobility is proud to support this young talented windsurfer following her victory and will now be with her every step of the way as she prepares for the 2024 Olympic Games.

18-year-old Andrea took part in her first Spanish Championship in 2016, after a training camp with the Spanish Federation in Barcelona. One year later, she won her first Spanish Championship in Cadiz Bay, and in the same year, she competed in her first European Championship in Lorient. She travelled to Alicante to participate in her first classifier for the national team. In Minorca, she won a place to take part in the Spanish Cup in Cadiz, and she then competed in the Youth WorldRS:X Championships in Penmarch, France. Her final competition this year was the Techno 293 World Championships, held in Liepaja, Latvia.

Now, and following her U21 Elite Spanish Championship victory, the young Majorcan athlete is preparing for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, in the IQFoil category. This is a new Olympic format which replaces traditional windsurfing this year.
