Greece: OK Mobility adds a new destination to its expansion plan

Apr 20, 2021

For the first time, the global mobility company expands its business through franchising with new openings in Chania, Heraklion and Rhodes.

OK Mobility continues to step on the accelerator in its international expansion plan and, for the first time in its history, does so through the franchise model. The company will open three new offices in Greece next May, specifically on the islands of Crete and Rhodes. In the case of Crete, it will be present at Heraklion and Chania airports, and in the case of Rhodes it will also be located at this island’s airport.

This is a big step for the company, in its commitment to continue adding to its network of offices new par excellence tourist destinations of Europe. With these new openings, the company is already present in five European countries: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany and Greece.

OK Mobility’s CEO Othman Ktiri celebrates the company’s entry into Greece and has wanted to emphasise that “we continue to add new destinations and for the first time we do so by franchising our brand. We enter the Hellenic country with new partners who share our same philosophy based on offering a quality service to our customers, guaranteeing the best of experiences. This will allow us to continue to take steps in our ambitious international expansion plan across Europe, always under the profitability and sustainability premises, and to which we will continue adding new destinations shortly.”

OK Mobility’s growth proves how strong the brand has become internationally, which makes it very attractive for those companies that are already expressing their intention to join this expansion project.

In this sense, the business group contemplates continuing to grow internationally, either through its own implementation as it has done in Portugal, Italy and Germany; through the acquisition (M&A) of other companies, as in the case of MC Automobiles in France; or creating its own franchise network as it will now happen in Greece.

It is now possible to make rental car reservations in Chania, Heraklion and Rhodes with pickups from May 3 through okmobility.com, being able to choose from a wide range of modern and fully equipped rental cars that adapt to each customer’s particular needs and their type of trip.
