OK Mobility Group closes the first seven months of 2022 with an EBIT of 33.28 million euros

  • The global mobility company doubles the EBIT obtained during the same period of the previous year.

  • In 2021 OK Mobility España S.L. was the most profitable car rental company in Spain.

OK Mobility Group achieved a net operating income (EBIT) of 33.28 million euros during the first seven months of2022, which means doubling the figure obtained during the same period in 2021. In addition, the global mobility company has achieved an EBITDA of 45.19 million euros, that is, 190 % higher than in the first seven months of the previous financial year.

On the other hand, from January to July, the company's operating marginexceeded 70 million euros, doubling the figure obtained last year.

Precisely in 2021, OK Mobility España S.L. positioned itself as the most profitable car rental company in Spain, surpassing all national and multinational companies in the sector, with an EBIT of 37.8 billion euros. In this regard, the CEO of OK Mobility, Othman Ktiri, expressed his satisfaction with these results and said that in just 12 yearsin this sector, we havemanaged to lead the car rental market in Spainin terms ofprofitability. Thescalabilitythat characterises ourbusiness model, in addition to our competitive spiri, obviously leads us to seek thesesame milestones in more countries.

As for the results achieved so far in 2022, Ktiri said that “preciselyour disruptive business modelallows us tocombine growth and profitability. The perfect implementation of our #OKontheRoad strategic plan means that we cancombine geographical expansion, quality and profitability”. 

In this sense, the Chief Financial Officer of OK Mobility, Francisco Muñoz, point out that “as a result, ourforecastfor this year leads us to predict that we could reach100 million euros in EBITDA.

OK Mobility is currently present in 10 European countries: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, France, Greece, Malta, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro; to which new countries will soon be added.
