Deportivo Alavés have had an outstanding season in Primera, finishing tenth in the La Liga standings.
The team had a difficult start to the season, winning only 2 games in the first 10 and finishing the first half in 15th place. However, a remarkable improvement in the second half of the season, including crucial victories against Atlético, Celta and Valencia, secured them a place in Primera ahead of schedule.
