Othman Ktiri, Executive Chairman and Founder of OK Mobility, took part as a speaker at the XXIII Diada dels Economistes, where he outlined his vision for the key challenges and opportunitiesshaping mobility in the Balearic Islands — a region where accessibility, seasonality and environmental protection demand tailored, sustainable solutions. In his view, the archipelago has made notable strides in infrastructure, digitalisation and more efficient mobility alternatives, though there is still room to advance towards more integrated, territory-friendly models.
Ktiri also outlined the evolution of OK Mobility’s business model, which has grown from a local operation into a consolidated global mobility platform, driven by innovation, diversification and a strategy centred on efficiency and customer experience. He also gave attendees an insight into his day-to-day life as an entrepreneur, balancing the management of an international group with a distinctly personal leadership style rooted in discipline, consistency and direct engagement with his teams.
At the event, held at Palma’s Hotel Victoria Gran Meliá, Jordi Rosselló Ramón, president of Grupo Roxa, received the 2025 Gold Medal for Business Career in recognition of his leadership at the helm of a Balearic-based company that has grown from its textile origins to diversify into hospitality, automotive and real estate.
With this dual focus, the XXIII Diada dels Economistes reinforces its position as a key forum for reflection on the future of mobility, economy and entrepreneurship in the Balearic Islands.
