The Mapfre Copa del Rey has successfully celebrated its 40th edition, supported by OK Mobility as official vehicle rental providers. More than 100 boats, from 20 different countries sailed the Bay of Palma for a week. Our company was proud to cover the organisation teams' transport needs for the duration of this prestigious international event.
Organised by the Real Club Náutico de Palma and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, the crews competed in three races along the Bay, in nine classes. Spanish crews Teatro Soho Caixabank, captained by Javier Banderas, and Balearia, led by María Bover, won the overall trophies for best crews in terms of compensated time and real time respectively.
