OK Mobility introduces vehicles adapted for people with reduced mobility to its already extensive mobility offer, responding to a real need for people with physical disabilities to move freely andin an adapted way. In this way, the global mobility company continues to add new vehicle alternatives, now also covering the transportation and driving needs of people with reduced mobility.
The CEO of OK Mobility, Othman Ktiri, says that “OK is incorporating this new type of adapted vehicles in our commitment to breaking the barriersso that people with reduced mobility can move freely.Mobility means freedom; a freedom that must be accessible to all people.”
Specifically, OK Mobility incorporates two types of adapted vehicles, on the one hand, cars adapted for driving by people with reduced mobility and, on the other, vans designed foradapted transportation. To this end, and according to Gilles Redard, Chief Supply Officer of OK Mobility, “we have adapted and equipped these vehicles, incorporating all safety and comfort requirements and ensuring compliance with current legislation”.
In this sense, as for adapted cars, they incorporate accelerator and brake controls next to the steering wheel, so that all manoeuvres can be manually operated. As for vans for adapted transport, they have an Easyflex system that allows the rear access ramp to be folded down to take advantage of the full capacity of the boot. In addition, the space configuration can accommodate up to five passengers plus one person with reduced mobility.
In this way, OK Mobility adds these models of adapted vehicles to its current mobility offer, consisting of cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and camper vans, hence taking another step forward in its objective of continuing to promote more personalised mobility that caters to thedriving needs of all its customers.
