OK Mobility, the global mobility platform, renews its support for the eighth edition of the charity race 'Mallorca En Marcha Contra el Cáncer', organised by the Spanish Association Against Cancer in the Balearic Islands, to be held on Sunday, 29 October, in Palma. A race that, for the second consecutive year, has gone pink to markWorld Breast Cancer Day.
In this sense, OK Mobility ratifies its firm commitment to the fight against cancer, uniting sport and solidarity. As part of its support for the association's various initiatives and projects, the company is once again joining the pink tide against cancer as an official sponsor of the race, providing its full backing to ensure its success.
Othman Ktiri, CEO of OK Mobility, said: "At OK, we want to highlight our active and continuous commitment to a cause of great importance. Providing mobility and resources to this association facilitates its work and demonstrates the importance of collaboration between the private sector and social entities to impact society positively".
For his part, José Reyes, president of the association in the Balearic Islands, said that "OK Mobility's commitment to the work we do in the association goes beyond words and symbolic gestures" and wanted to show his "gratitude for their constant support, both in the solidarity race 'Mallorca En Marcha Contra el Cáncer' and in the fight against breast cancer in the Balearic Islands and the other campaigns that we carry out in the association".
This accompaniment goes further, as, since 2022, OK Mobility has become the first "Active Company Against Cancer" in the Balearic Islands, providing mobility to the association throughout the year.
In this sense, the company has labelled the vehicle lent to the association with the image of the new campaign "El rosa es más que un color" against breast cancer, on World Breast Cancer Day, celebrated annually on 19 October. This vehicle not only facilitates the movements of the organisation's professionals, such as social workers and doctors, during their visits to patients, but also serves as an informative element of the association's main messages and awareness campaigns.
This initiative adds to the numerous Corporate Social Responsibility actions that OK Mobility promotes in partnership with various local, national and international entities.
