OK Mobility Group reaches an agreement with Renault to accelerate their electrification process

  • The business group once again promotes sustainable mobility by incorporating ZOE electric vehicles into their hire fleet

OK Mobility Group, business group specialising in mobility, has incorporated new Renault ZOE electric vehicles to the fleet in some of their main offices in Spain, therefore further promoting efficient mobility and their loyal commitment to carrying out their activities with sustainability in mind.

This incorporation of zero emission vehicles was completed after an agreement was reached with the French company, and represents one more step in the adoption of sustainable measures taken by the OK Mobility Group rent-a-car division. This accelerates the fleet’s electrification process.

The mobility group was already a pioneer in 2015, when they began to incorporate this type of vehicle into their fleet, to decisively promote new technology and environmental protection. This new electric car alternative now joins the wide range of vehicles that the company offers their customers, who may choose the option which is best suited to their mobility needs at any moment.

The CEO of OK Mobility Group, Othman Ktiri, has expressed his satisfaction with the incorporation of these new vehicles: “For OK Mobility Group the future of mobility will inevitably move towards being more sustainable and respectful to the environment. Continuously renewing our fleet allows us to lower our CO2 emissions every year, reaching an average level per vehicle which is significantly lower than the average level emitted on a national level“By incorporating the Renault ZOE to our fleet, we go one step further with a vehicle which is currently the most sustainable option that the industry can offer, adds Ktiri.

The company aims to continue to incorporate electric vehicles into their fleet. However, as Ktiri points out, we still need manufacturers to offer us a more consistent and competitive electric vehicle selection. And it is precisely due to this lack of options on the market that the number of vehicles that we currently have available in the fleet is much lower than what we could, and would like to have”.

Among the advantages that the new Renault ZOE vehicles offer customers are energy saving, lower toll charges, ability to drive in residential areas, free parking, and free recharging at public charging stations, among others. The French manufacturer was leader in electric vehicle sales in Spain and in Europe in 2020.
