OK Mobility continues to advance in its expansion plan and opens two new OK Stores in the Canary Islands, specifically in Gran Canaria and Tenerife Sur. Two openings with which the global mobility company reinforces its presence in the key Spanish sun and beach tourist destinations and with which it responds to customers’ high demand to have the company's services in this destination.
The new OK Store in Tenerife, the largest and most populated island of the Canary archipelago, will open its doors at the end of May and will be located at TenerifeSur airport, which received a traffic volume of 11.2 million passengers in 2019.
For its part, the new OK Store in Gran Canaria, the third island of the Canary archipelago in terms of size and the first in population density, will offer its services from June onwards and will be located at the island’s airport, through which 13.3 million passengers passed in 2019.
OK Mobility’s Development Director, Víctor Gómez, stressed that "with the entry of OK Mobility in the Canary Islands, not only we are present in the two Spanish archipelagos, consolidating our presence in Spain’s main holiday destinations, but we also respond to our customers’ demands to offer our mobility services in the Canary Islands".
For his part, OK Mobility’s CEO, Othman Ktiri, has shown his satisfaction with the fact that "the arrival of OK in the Canary Islands is already a reality. 10 years after the opening of our first OK Store in Mallorca, I am thrilled to be able to say, finally, that OK Mobility is already present across Spain. Being present in eight countries, it was important to close the circle in our home country."
"Having been born in the Balearic Islands, we are very aware of the specifications that insularity implies. An implementation in an archipelago has to be done with humility and respect and, in this sense, our intention is none other than to be able to offer our services to our customers so that they can tour the magnificent natural landscapes offered by both Gran Canaria and Tenerife", adds Ktiri.
In this way, OK Mobility continues to accelerate its national and international expansion process with the recent openings of new OK Stores in Frankfurt and Pisa, while continuing to strengthen and consolidate its presence within the nationalterritory, with these two new OK Stores in the Canary Islands or with the recent opening of the OK Store on Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona.
It is now possible to make car rental reservations in Tenerife Sur with pick-ups from may 20th and in Gran Canaria, with pick-ups from June 1st onwards, through okmobility.com, being able to choose from a wide range of modern and fully equipped vehicles that meet the mobility needs of each customer and their type of trip.
