Jul 28, 2022
  • The global mobility company's share of electrified vehicles (electric + hybrid) currently stands at 21%.

OK Mobility adds Tesla vehicles to its mobility offering, thus expanding its premium fleet with the most exclusive brands in the market while, accelerating its vehicle electrification strategy.

Specifically, the Model Y, a 100 % electric SUV with a range of more than 500 kilometres, is already available for rental at the OK Store in Palma de Mallorca, and will soon arrive at the OK Stores in Barcelona and Madrid.

OK Mobility's Chief Supply Chain Officer, Gilles Redard, emphasises that "with the addition of these vehicles to the OK fleet we are highlighting the fact that exclusivity and efficiency can go hand in hand. Whether touring natural paradises on the coast and in the mountains or the most premium urban enclaves, our customers can now enjoy this model that combines luxury, power and comfort".

The company's ongoing electrificationprocess encompasses its entire mobility offering, from the most standard vehicles to premium models, in its aim to lead the shift towards global and innovative mobility.

Redard adds: “The US manufacturer's leading expertise in the electric segment adds value to our electrification strategy, where the share of electrified vehicles (electric + hybrid) currently stands at 21 %. In this sense, the forecast for the end of 2022 is for this fleet to increase by around 60 % vs. 2021".

OK Mobility has been working for years to develop efficient mobility. In 2015, the company was a pioneer in the Balearic Islands, where its headquarters are located, by incorporating electric vehicles into its fleet. Since then, it has continued to accelerate its electrification process, introducing low-emission vehicles and reducing average CO2 emissions to below the national average.

The US company's vehicles are now available for rental via the OK Mobility website and app. okmobility.com and the OK Mobility app.
