OK Mobility opens in Albania and Romania, expanding their presence in emerging tourist destinations

OK Mobility lands in Albania and Romania, opening two newOK Stores in capitals Tirana and Bucharest. The global mobility company extends its mobility services offer to two of southeastern Europe's top emerging tourist destinations, expanding their international presence in response to the 75% increase in demand for bookings in this region. OK Mobility were already present in 11 countries: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Greece, Malta, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, the United States and Morocco, and now Albania and Romania join the family to bring the total to 13.

The Balkans and Eastern Europe have become a tourist trend at European level, particularly among Spanish travellers. Affordable, greater connectivity with direct flights and the cultural, gastronomic and landscape richness of countries which up until recently were widely unknown, are just some of southeastern Europe greatest attractions. Tourist arrivals in the region's two jewels prove this: in 2022 alone, Romania and Albaniawelcomed 12.6 and 7.5 million tourists, respectively, according to figures from both countries' Ministries of Tourism.
