OK Mobility strengthens its corporate governance structure with the appointment of Jorge Navea, former CEO of Astara, as an independent director of the Board of Directors. His appointment consolidates the professionalised model adopted by the global mobility platform around a year ago.

With a strong track record in the sector, Navea has led Astara for over 20 years, driving its transformation into one of the leading automotive groups, operating in 19 countries across Europe, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. He will bring highly valuable strategic insight for the development of OK Mobility's various business lines.

Othman Ktiri, Founder and Executive Chairman of OK Mobility, welcomed Navea. “On behalf of OK Mobility Group, its executive management, and the entire team, we are delighted to welcome Jorge Navea to our company, focused on moving people and empowering their freedom. His addition reinforces a robust, high-level corporate governance model, and his deep knowledge of the automotive sector, along with his strategic and international vision, will strengthen our ability to innovate and grow efficiently in the mobility market.”

For his part, Jorge Navea has expressed his enthusiasm for joining the Board of Directors. “I am honoured and excited to join the board and contribute to strengthening OK Mobility. I love the company, I love the brand, and the freshness it brings to the mobility sector. I am inspired by their achievements and motivated to contribute to future success.”

With this addition, OK Mobility's Board of Directors is now composed of Othman Ktiri, as Executive Chairman; OK Group, as the company's legal entity director, represented by Joaquim Monclús; Iván Meléndez as Executive Director and Business CEO; Sylvie Matherat, former Deputy General Manager of the Bank of France and member of the executive board of Deutsche Bank, as Independent Director; Jorge Navea, also as an Independent Director; and Enrique Nieto, partner at Uría Menéndez, as Board Secretary (non-member).

This addition reflects OK Mobility's commitment to the professionalisation, transparency, and sustainability of its management model, aligned with the consolidation and diversification of its mobility services internationally.
