OK Mobility and Meliá Hotels International have entered into a new strategic partnership, enabling members of the MeliáRewards loyalty programme to earn points when booking vehicles through the global mobility platform. The partnership reinforces both companies’ commitment to delivering a more seamless travel experience, with added benefits for their most loyal customers.
From now on, members of the hotel chain’s loyalty programme will earn six points for every euro or dollar spent on car rental bookings made through the OK Mobility website. This benefit applies across all OK Mobility Stores worldwide, with more than 70 locations in 17 countries across four continents.
The agreement was signed at OK Mobility’s headquarters in Palma de Mallorca, hosted by its Founder and Executive Chairman, Othman Ktiri, and attended by Gabriel Escarrer, Chairman and CEO of Meliá Hotels International.
Othman Ktiri said the alliance “marks a significant milestone in our mission to bring together services that simplify and enhance the customer experience, seamlessly linking mobility and accommodation.”
Gabriel Escarrer said the collaboration “enhances the MeliáRewards offering by creating more opportunities to earn points and reinforcing our commitment to supporting customers at every stage of their journey.”
Both OK Mobility and Meliá are rooted in Mallorca and are members of Exceltur, an association chaired by Gabriel Escarrer that brings together leading companies in Spain’s tourism sector and promotes a responsible and sustainable tourism model.
In addition to creating new value for the hotel group’s most loyal customers, the partnership strengthens its competitive position within the tourism sector and reinforces its commitment to building collaborations that enhance the customer experience and deliver more comprehensive, global travel experiences.
